Natural sciences are on of the areas of knowledge where questions should be objective. That should be the aim of the natural sciences and it is to a certain extent but then we also have human error occurring. The human error being the scientists and how they run labs and record data. The question is not neutral because scientists have that desire to want something that will describe the natural world. Scientist first come up with a hypothesis, which is supposed to be objective but since labs are carried out to find a particular thing, the hypothesis can not be objective. Scientist use intuition from observations or other events to develop a hypothesis and in doing so they are carrying bias in their hypothesis. An example of subjectivity in the natural sciences are when scientists want to find what the gravity of earth is. It 's not neutral because they themselves are saying that there is gravity present in earth this become a bias based question. Another bias that presented in science is with labs, when scientists do a lab and they come up with an hypothesis and all the question revolve around the hypothesis that was given. When Newton first discovered gravity, he had thought about the apples …show more content…
Questions to a certain extent do have bias presented in them based on the way they are asked or who the are asked by. When asking a question, you are trying to find the answer to something you are uncertain about. Natural sciences shows that questions can be both subjective and objective making questions having a 50/50 bias level. But bias will always be present in an question since it is created by humans. We know this because of human sciences, looking back at the Key Club example, the way I asked my question, I was leading the candidate to one direction, this shows that I was being bias and was wanting we are able to clearly see that humans are subjective. So we can conclude that there is no such thing as a neutral question because a neutral question would be pure objective and since no question can be pure objective unless its not created by man there is no such thing as a neutral question. Some argue technology is objective because technology is designed to be neutral so no bias being presented. But there is a key word there designed. Which doesn 't state that it is, its just supposed to be. Since technology is a man made product then there has to be bias because human sciences show that humans cannot be objective. So human bias will be implemented in that technology which results with technology still have bias with it. So a question can be biased to some extent because natural sciences show that objectivity is present in
