It’s easy for someone to say “how is this going to even affect the student’s”. People will argue that this will only distract the students more than they already are. This is going to sound harsh,but this will eliminate the students who want to and are focused and want to learn and from the students who do not care about their education. There will be a drop in students who are failing and an increase on the students who have always been focused but struggled on their own. In “Marita’s Bargain” it shows how students education is affected by poverty. Separates and compares the education from a wealthy person and a poor person. The Kipp foundation opened up an opportunity to show how if they introduce a well education program a school in the poor side of the Bronx. The education level will grow and only increase. “When it comes to reading skills poor kids learn nothing when school is not in session.” All this falls into the category of environment. If a student of any grade level or age if they do not have a good learning environment do not expect to get the most out of the students. A healthy working environment will make it so the student is not stressed and is relaxed when learning thus the student will get the most out of the lesson they are receiving. Making the schools in Anaheim more suitable for students and will possibly make it so students will wake up not stressed about school. Allowing the student to go to class with an opened mind and relaxed. As a district we guarantee that all the students here at Anaheim will want to go to school instead of complaining and being stressed over having to go to school.Schools in Anaheim like Gilbert which is a credit recovery school takes at least 30% of students that do not have enough credits to graduate high school. If schools like Gilbert were to be made to be more suitable for working conditions it may not be known as just a credit recovery school,But maybe a school like the others here in Anaheim.In "Marita 's Bargain" again a passage from the collection Textbook it describes how kids fail do to there living conditions at home and at school. So they ran a test on both wealthy and poor kids. “Three quarters of the students come from single parent home." That some sentence gives a big idea of the conditions some of the students go through and they are only in the 5th grade. It is important that kids like these get a good education and that can be affected by having a good working environment. For this to work and be effective it needs to be enforced and supported by the people that are making this change happen.The students need to know that as a district we know what they are going through and why they are struggling.
