Students are forced to accustom their bodies to waking up and being active at a certain time that their body may or may not be used to. Having school in the morning for the early birds and having school in the afternoon or the night for those students who hate mornings will promote independence because they get to decide what is beneficially for themselves and what works best.According to Dr.Ken Shore ”Some students are late for school for reasons that are beyond their control...Their lateness might be a symptom of anxiety about school, caused by either academic or social concerns.¨ With this being said we should let students choose when it 's best for them to attend school.Anxiety can be caused by many different things.One being a constant worry.Worrying about waking up on time for school is something that mostly all students including myself go through. This worrying also causes stress leading to many other health issues or something simple like not being able to concentrate in class and focus on what is being taught.Sometimes being late turns into something you can not control and it 's just better accommodate if school took place at a different time during the day for them Once something turns into a habit,it 's especially hard to break out of when you do it constantly non stop.While breaking out of habits is hard it sure isn 't impossible to do so.Definitely having different options of when to attend school will better the issue of lateness.This will improve their grades and also their attendance rate which is definitely a problem we need to resolve.If students are in class on time,ready to learn they will retain more information and be able to be more successful in projects that they are given.This will promote the development of independence in students because in the bps system we
