I did not know it was prohibited for people to snap a selfie while they are in the polling place, or that I was going to receive a card to insert into the machine. Honestly, I thought I was going to fill out a paper and bubble in my choices, but that was not the case. I thought that way because I was recently in Mexico and the elections for the State Governor were going on. People were given pencils, but for security, many used pens to fill out the vote. Once the vote was made, it was then inserted into a box with a small opening. To me, the box looked very similar to a tool box and had an opening at the top similar to the one on the piggy banks. Seeing the voting process like that made me believe that the voting here, in the United States, was somewhat similar to the voting in my home state Zacatecas in Mexico. At first, I believed that it would be harder to vote; however, after I voted, I figured that voting was in fact really easy. I liked the Fact that votes are held through electric machines because it makes it harder for votes to be stolen or switched into different ones to make it seem like a certain candidate is chosen and highly preferred. After all, I will be prepared to vote once again in four years. I would not take the time to think back and considerer whether to go vote or not because I have to keep speaking for those who cannot vote but still follow and obey the law in the United
