“Yes” or “no” questions seem easy to answer since there are only two choices. However, when we think deeply about these questions, it turns out that this kind of questions are the most difficult to answer. There are ways of knowing for which people use to give responses to these questions. Emotion is strong feelings such as joy, anger, happiness and sadness. Faith is having complete belief in something without ifs and buts. Imagination is having new ideas that are not present currently. These are the images that are formed in our minds as we think about different things. Intuition is the initial feeling or understanding something without proof and reasoning. For instance, if a person failed to answer “Is Ulan Baator the capital of Mongolia?” the only consequence is that people would think that he is not good at geography or history. But if he failed to answer questions that ask about his own belief or stand on an issue, such as “Is abortion always wrong?” people tend to judge his whole personality. I am going to answer some intriguing “yes” or “no” questions that could create different reactions from others.
Gay people have a right to marry. Through reasoning, my answer is yes. Most people would answer no especially those who are devout in their stand that only a male and a female must be bound in marriage. People use their faith and its corresponding beliefs to come up with a no answer. People have their natural rights which include the right to choose in marriage. Gay people are also humans. They are actually males who feel feminine inside. The difference in gender preference does not make them any different from heterosexuals. Giving them their right to be married with the people they desire would not hinder the development of the society. An example of gay couple marriage is that of Elton John and David Furnish who were married in civil in 2005.
