I’ve always been intrigued by thrilling scenes and suspenseful moments in the movies I watch and grown to love. The Lincoln Lawyer is no exception. The Lincoln Lawyer is in a genre that truly speaks to me. The Lincoln Lawyer is a crime, drama, and thriller film starring Mick Haller played by Matthew McConaughey, a defensive lawyer who represents low life criminals, drug dealers, con artists, and call girls. The film fits perfectly into the categories I like most. Crime, drama, and thriller, making the film a tremendous match for my personal tastes. This movie is extremely suspenseful, as even re-watching the movie I’m still afraid of the outcome in certain scenes.The film reminds me of similar movie by the title of “Fracture” starring Ryan Gosling. Gosling plays an upcoming attorney who fought his way up from the bottom of the barrel. This draws many similarities to the Lincoln Lawyer, such as the challenges both high-level attorneys will face. Early in the film, Mick Haller pops out of his lincoln town car, with an expensive black suit, walking into the courthouse with his head held high. You can see the swagger on Haller’s face when he utters the line to his client “Rule one, I get paid or I don’t work”. Haller pulls a stunt to extend trial in order to get his money. Thoughts on Mick Haller just briefly into this movie, this guy is an absolute charmer. Haller seems like a slick attorney who doesn’t play by the rules. This ultimately turns into a serious issue for him as the movie’s plot advances and ethics comes into play. At one point, a cop in the film questions how Haller sleeps at night knowing the type of people he defends as in most cases, they are usually guilty. However, this artistic presentation of the lawyer as a controversial subject in the society helps to build on the theme injustice and the evil that
