While dress codes are provided, most times they are said to keep boys’ more comfortable, but only because they are always sought to be sexualizing a classmates shoulder. Discussions concerning the dress code even bring up, “everyone is in theory affected by dress codes, girls and LGTBQ youth are disproportionately affected” (Bily).
