A feud between the Eastside and Westside brings complications. Throughout “The Outsiders” written by S.E. Hinton, there are fights between the rich, smart Socs and the poor and lower education Greasers. Ponyboy’s going through a tough time and it doesn’t help when his best friend Johnny kills someone in the rival gang. There are many differences and similarities in the book and the movie “The Outsiders” by S. E. Hinton. Many elements were similar while some of the character relationships and scenes were different.
The characters in the book and the movie have many similarities and differences. Even though Two-Bit was funny in the book, he was hilarious in the movie. I really laughed when he pretended to shake one of the greasers hand, but
