More people have been further involved with their opinion on gun control, especially after the Las Vegas shooting. But only some of the arguments are even valid. Americans can believe all they want that banning guns is probable, but it’s just not going to happen. As Paul Waldman states, “with 300 million of them already in circulation, collecting them would be impossible” (“The Case for Banning Guns”). If people wanted to create immense devastation with mass murders, they would find a way to, with or without guns. Instead of worrying about guns, people need to focus on overall security of the nation and how people with disturbed minds are getting their hands on weapons that have the capability of taking out a great deal of people.
