Marijuana has been in America since the founding days of our little colonies, it has been there through thick and thin. As many around the world have grown to accept marijuana in daily lives many citizens here in the United States of America consume it behind closed doors. Many nations across the globe have been using marijuana with recreational, medicinal, and manufacturing functions with proven success and little repercussions on the society. One of the most noticeable and fought after here in the United States has been medicinal marijuana, a strand of marijuana that has a higher dosage of Cannabidiol (CBD) a chemical that has been documented to have reduce seizures and alleviate pain. Even Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN 's Chief Medical Correspondent has stated “It is no surprise then that 76% of physicians recently surveyed said that they would approve the use of marijuana to help ease a woman’s pain from breast cancer.”(CNN 2013) While there is currently limited medical journals published on the benefits of marijuana, many studies are currently underway to help build a case that could revolutionize the way medicine is practiced by using a more natural source verses man made chemicals and treatments with adverse side effects.
