Joey is someone who embodies more than one character type in this episode, the role of the womanizer but also the role of the dummy. Joey is portrayed as the womanizer throughout the series, but in this particular episode we see Joey be the womanizer when he starts flirting with a Dutch woman who stops to watch the group play football. Joey is an attractive character who has had many relationships and as soon as Joey sees the Dutch woman his horny nature comes out when he immediately forgets about the football game and starts to flirt with the woman. Joey then proceeds to be arrogant when he says he will 'let' Chandler have the Dutch woman, with the clear understanding that if Joey was involved the Dutch woman would not agree to go out with Chandler. The arrogance continues when Chandler rips Joey's jersey and Joey decides that he will ask the Dutch woman out, showcasing how confident he is in his ability to be smooth.
