“The Tell-Tale Heart” it is a short story regarding an unnamed storyteller or narrator who emphasizes on their rationality after murdering an old man with an evil eye from the narrator view. The crime was cold, measured and well executed, the body disposed of, except the guilt gradually eats away at the person.
I guess this story practices an inaccurate narrator very clearly; pushing the story without delivering too much continuously, to keep it tense. The narrator doesn’t state a gender of the narrator and most readers think he’s a man, it could just as easily been a woman. You can see the narrator slowly self-destructing; starting by insisting that they are innocent and normal. The Tell-Tale Heart is a classic chiller and well performed
