As I come home from a long day work
I look forward to the smiles of my Lili and my little boy
They smile at me with such large smiles that make
The edges of their eyes crinkle
As if they were cutting up onions
I wrap my arms around my little one
Never wanting to let him go
Drowning him in my arms of love
I relax as he goes on about his play
A feeling of such washes over me
Weighing my heart down as I listen to him
I walk over to Lili and hold her close
Never wanting to let her go
From my embrace of tenderness and love
After we cleaned up dinner’s mess
The three of us gathered together
Like a bunch of bees in a nest
As we sat outside looking upon the sky
Full of stars and many wonders
