Timothy was one of Paul’s co-laborers in the early beginnings of the Church. Timothy is believed to be a convert of Paul’s and because of this conversion we see on of the first pastors come from Paul. Timothy was believed to be in his early twenties when he was converted to Christianity. When one looks at Paul in scripture, they see him as one of the most influential people and Timothy is a product of that influence. Timothy has a special bond with Paul and this bond seems to increase as he is developed. Timothy’s ministry was much like that of Paul’s as they both traveled to churches to help them with growth and truth.
