An intriguing factor of this movie that makes it so special is that there’s such distinct and real characters. As this movie is seen through the eyes of a child, specifically a young 6 year old girl and her perspective on good and evil. Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck) is a respected lawyer and wonderful father, the audience is persuaded with his noble ways making him a charming character that the audience instantly loves. The book is such a brilliant piece of work winning well deserved awards such as the Pulitzer Prize for fiction (1961). The movie has also won many awards thanks to the hard working cast and crew with awards such as Golden Globes, Academy Awards and Halls of Fame ranging from the release of the movie (1962) to just recently in the 21st century.
