In this paper I will cover some of the challenging questions some soon to be fathers have.
What changes can the father anticipate after the baby arrives? Does the arrival of a new
baby cause a significant martial strain? How can fathers support their partners during and
after the transition to parenthood? How might additional births affect the family system?
What changes in roles, schedules and finances might the father expect? Lastly, What will
new fathers find the most difficult about the transition to parenthood? With that, I will

Once again every pair is different when it comes to their relationships. But one of
the most important things to remember is to bond with your partner. Take every chance to
refresh and recouple. Another idea can be to join a parenting club, have trustworthy
friends, cousins or even grandparents who can watch the baby, even if its only for a small
amount of time.

- How can fathers support their partners during and after the transition to parenthood? Fathers can support their companions by pitching in with baby care whenever they have the time. This thus allows the partner to take some time to themselves if
needed. As everyone says, a little bit of me time can go a very long way to make you feel
like yourself again. . If you or your partner are feeling overwhelmed, look for ways to
put off household duties for awhile. You should always try to ask friends or family to
sit if possible.
