Traveling To The Dominican Republic

Decent Essays
My best childhood memory is from when I traveled out of the country for the first time with both my parents. I had traveled numerous times before to the Dominican Republic, but only with my dad while my mom stayed in New Jersey. This changed in the fourth grade, when I was 10 years old, and I traveled to the Dominican Republic with both my mom and dad. My mom had never been there before and it was going to be a new experience for all of us.
Although I had traveled before, the only places I visited were family members’ houses and I would always sleep in my grandmother’s guest room. When I went with both my parents, my dad and I didn’t do what we usually did when we went which made this trip special. In the fourth grade the trip lasted two weeks
