Unc Jazz Band personnels are consisted of sax section, trumpet section, trombone section and rhythm section. In the back of the stage were the drummers . To the left of the stage was the bass players and to the right the saxophone players. In the rear were the trumpets, trombone players, and a conductor. The trumpet play has a bright timbre with great deals of harmonic frequencies that dominated the tune. Between the first and the second music, the conductor gave an introductory speech and announcement that the concert was dedicated to Phil Woods, a famous American jazz bebop alto saxophonist, bandleader, and composer who passed away recently in September 2015.
The second music was Hello, Young Lovers was Corey Wilcox, one of Jamey Aerbersold Visiting Jazz Artists from Jacksonville, Florida, solo trombone performance. He has a wonderful trombone solo with warm and brash timbre. Despite the difficulty of playing trombone, Corey Wilcox showed an amazing mastery of the tune.
