Sociology is a major basis of human nature and history, it helps make us who we are as a community of human beings. Values are sets of shared beliefs and that most people in the community feel are important. Urban forests target values that city dwellers give up in the metal and concrete world. According to the Sinclair et al. (2014) study, there are six values that the residents of Winnipeg, Canada felt urban forests re-kindled in them. The first theme was the view that was obtained through the greenery; the study received values and words such as ““pretty”, “beautiful” and “streetscape”.” The second theme was the balance and harmony that the nature brought to the people with words such as “natural”, “nature”, and “diversity”. It is the value that wants the balance between the cold hard city and the soft peaceful nature. Third, the value of personal well-being was shown through words such as “shade” and “health”. The fourth value was social wants with words like “recreation” and “community space”. This brings people together and creates a sense of team and helps people identify with others. The last values, not as prominent were environmental and miscellaneous. These values are satisfied through urban forests. These values show the benefits that urban forest have on people sociology, by making the group overall happier.
