As per “Organizational Behavior 13th Edition” conflicts are disagreements that occur in a social situation. In our case “USA Today” had many conflicts since the beginning of idea from changing to a digital media from a day-to-day newspaper.
As a meeting was held on January 2000, Tom Curley discussed about the current situation and necessary action to be taken about USAT and its transformation of traditional newspapers to a broader sense of online news channel. During these meetings, there were substantive conflicts between Curley and other senior staff where there was a disagreement of goals and the means for their accomplishments.
