My opinion on the argument was the negative side which I was on. I believe voting requirement laws are an excuse to block minorities from voting and they are unnecessary. These laws are put in place to target minorities because they might vote liberal. Although people argue that voting regulations such as voter ID are in place to protect this country from voter fraud, that is yet another excuse. Voter fraud it extremely rare. We argued that the only reason voter ID is a law is because of voter fraud. Voter fraud is barely existent in America. Our weakest argument was about proving that voter fraud is barely existent. We thought we had it covered but then we accidentally did the math wrong. We thought the cases of voter fraud were lower than what they actually were. This was one of our low points because the other teams fought back so well. They fought back with the right voting fraud numbers which really helped their argument. There weakest argument was about how trump supported the voter regulations. I think this was their weakest argument because one, I don’t support Donald Trump's opinions.
