A model is an effort to modernize or remodel the connection supposed to occur between the items being investigated. Even though models are assorted we can arrange them according to the reason for which they exist, in this case, their purpose. It has been recognized that when communication occurs, messages often circulate from both the receiver and the source simultaneously. Although there are many models of communication, Barnlund’s Transactional Model of Communication is the most applicable for demonstrating what takes place when the message is found to be presenting a problem, in the film ‘’Wag the Dog’’.
