Global Warming is becoming an even bigger threat as years go by yet only in the last few years has it (global warming) came to public attention in a meaningful way. It has become a significant issue today due to the threats it has on humans and our everyday lives. It was originally discovered when a photo of the earth was taken on the Apollo Eight mission, this photo showed how easily the world could be destroyed and how fragile and delicate the ozone layer is. In this essay, I intend to convince you and urge you to change your ways and tell you how much a threat global warming is to humans, animals, and the environment.

When these gases are released into the atmosphere they form a shell or a greenhouse around the Earth. Then when the sun’s rays reach Earth some of them bounce back but because of the shell created by those greenhouse gases they won’t be able to and that will result in global warming, melting of the icecaps, and climate change. …show more content…
Icecaps provide homes to many animals and it keeps the weather of the world how it should be. With the melting of the ice caps, the sea level will rise and the whole world's temperature will be affected. If they melt then the sea levels near Antarctica and Greenland could possibly rise by 6 meters. This could possibly lead to another ice age. Many villages rely on the water that the ice caps provide them, but if they melt those villages may possibly be
