The American Dream is not a perfect dream--there are those who live easier lives than others--however, it can be perfected because Americans are safe to challenge the faults of the country granted by their rights. In a broader sense, the concept of the American Dream defines itself; it is the ability for Americans to dream anything they want to do because of the rights that secure those ambitions.
Americans can aspire for great things because as stated in the Declaration of Independence, ¨that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness¨. Americans have the right to strive for their personal happiness and no one has the power to take that away from them.
