What Is The Great Gatsby A Romantic Movie

After seeing the Great Gatsby, it is now one of my favorite romantic movies. I am not normally a person that would go out and enjoy watching a romantic movie, but by the end of the movie I was invested, and really wanting to see what happens next. In one of my favorite scenes in the movie there is a booming party and the scene is something that you would imagine in a dream. One of the main characters, Jay Gatsby, is standing in the middle of it and reveals himself to the narrator, Nick Carraway. The scene gave Gatsby a perfect foundation for the rest of the film.
The Great Gatsby was a film directed by Mark Anthony, mainly known as "Baz" Luhrmann. He is known for a distinctive, colorful, visual style with strong musical influences. You can obviously see this in the film. The color and the vibrant themes of the film brought a visually enjoyable theme. The film cast Leonardo DiCaprio as the mysterious Jay Gatsby, with Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway, Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan, Joel Edgerton as Tom Buchanan and Elizabeth Debicki as Myrtle Wilson. City. In the scene it shows the vibrant and hectic life of the city. Nick is in the bond business, and he use to be a writer. He moves right next to a mysterious man who lives in a huge mansion. The man’s name is Jay Gatsby, and Nick meets him at one of his scenical parties. Gatsby is portrayed as cunning man who had mysteries surrounding him, but was soon to be Nick’s best friend. Daisy Buchanan is showed to be a pretty, but sad and torn character. Her emotions are constantly changing. Tom Buchanan, Daisy’s husband, is a very rich, but arrogant and unfaithful husband to Daisy. Her constantly is having affairs with other women. You learn about Myrtle Wilson, Tom’s mistress who is a wild red head, who eventually gets her nose broken by Tom when she mentions Daisey
