Whodunit's Atmosphere

Decent Essays
Earth, where we live. What you happen if we had no sun? What would happen if there was only poisonous gases? Earth as we know it could have turned out a lot different then it is just by these little things we didn’t know was out there, in space. Earth’s atmosphere is thick enough to prevent poisonous rays of radiation from getting to it. The earth’s rotation is gradually slowing down because of the moon.
‘’As a single footstep will not make a on the earth, so a single thought will not make a in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.’’ Henry david Thoreau. The major things about my planet is the atmosphere, moon, and the chemical elements.

The atmosphere on Whodunit is twice as big as earth’s atmosphere. As the atmosphere grows it blocks out any poisonous gases or any other dangerous chemicals that could harm anyone or anything. Whodunit has a thick enough atmosphere to prevent poisonous rays of radiation from getting in, just like earth’s atmosphere. As the atmosphere around the planet grows so does their magnetic field and higher increase of carbon dioxide. The temperature around the inside of the atmosphere is 350c below freezing to 780c above freezing. Whodunit has 78% of the gravity that Earth has which is slowly increasing. As the atmosphere changes very slowly it affects the way the seasons change as well. It would be summer in December, Fall in March, Winter in July, and Spring in September. Planet Whodunit is on a tilt of 34.9*. Planet Whodunit’s atmosphere is different than any other planet’s

1.Because of the Earths daily rotation it causes the sun to appear to rise in the east and set in the west so it creates a day and night so the moon relies on the sun to set and rise during a certain time in the hemisphere 2.The seasons result from the 23.5-degree tilt of the Earth's axis combined with its revolution around the sun 3.The Moon's and Sun's gravitational pulls on Earth are responsible for this natural phenomenon creating the tides. Tides occur because the Moon's gravity decreases with distance from the Moon. 4. A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth is positioned directly between the Sun and the Moon and the Earth casts a shadow on Moon.…

Why do you think they are both right?. I believe that Eaton and Mulholland acted with greed, not only because they were not honest with Los Angeles population back in 1905 when they started to build the aqueduct, but as well because their main intention was only to expand the city over everything. They did not consider the catastrophic impact that they will cause on Owens lake and valley. I am not saying that your opinion is wrong, but maybe you should consider how they actually damaged the valley? Do you think that all the damaged is worth it just to expand the city?…

Venus has an atmosphere consisting of 95.5% Carbon Dioxide and 3.5% Nitrogen, although other minerals can be traced such as; Carbon Monoxide, Helium and Argon. The amount of Carbon Dioxide in Venus's atmosphere causes a severe greenhouse effect, lifting the temperatures to about 870 Fahrenheit and -365 at night! The Greenhouse Effect is when heat gets trapped in the clouds, causing the body to warm up. Also it's atmosphere is very reflective.…

The detail in the book, In Cold Blood, facilitates the reader’s understanding the imagery that develops suspense throughout. Dick and Perry (the murders of the Clutter’s family) not being “the kind to kick off his shoes and sit by the shore” worked hard to accomplish their murders clear from any possible clues that could be used against them. Nancy faced towards the wall covered with blood due to the bullet that made its way through the back of her head with her hands tied together, blocking her possibilities to escape. Nancy’s mother, Bonnie, tied with “very complicated and artful pieces of art” of knots from her hands to her ankles. A bullet too passed through the side of her head.…

Dwarf planets are considered to be those mass’s in space which are neither planet nor natural satellite. More explicitly, they are a mass which, unlike a moon, orbit around the sun, and due to the pull and force of their self-gravity are of a sufficient mass that they form an almost rounded spherical shape however they are not of a sufficient size to gravitationally clear the neighbourhood around their orbit. (Williams, M) In comparison the definition of a planet, as defined by the International Astronomical Union in 2006 is “a celestial body that (a) is in orbit around the Sun, (b) has sufficient mass for its self-gravity to overcome rigid body forces so that it assumes a hydrostatic equilibrium (nearly round) shape, and (c) has cleared the neighbourhood around its orbit.” (IAU)…

Other variations like the tilt and precession of Earth also affects the natural warming and cooling process of the climate. The Earth’s angle determines the intensity of the season changes. For example, if the planet has an increasing axial tilt, the contrast increases so the summer would be warmer and winter will be colder. Precession is the wobbling of the Earth on its axis back and forth. It determines how long or short the seasons would be.…
