Freedom is something not everyone gets. We have the right to say what we want, believe in what we want, wear what we want, and work where we want. We aren’t forced into religion, clothes, or an occupation. In some countries, if you go against their religious beliefs, or you are an atheist, you could be killed. We have people out there who are willing to die, so others don’t have to: soldiers, police officers, and local heroes. Our country’s people are willing to stick their necks out to protect other people and their country, no matter what. More than 180,000 people join the military every year so they can help us. I come from a family very involved in military service. Some stayed in a long time, and some didn’t. They put themselves in danger to protect everyone
