For a very long time my interest had been in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). If you have
probably never heard of BJJ before, let me explain what that mean. It does mean the most BJJ is
part of a Martial Art base in ground fighting that developing environment and gradually excels
their ability to use grappling.(1) My best friend, Mark Bermudez wanted me to watch the

The burn calories during I could perform my
exercise drills and grappling in BJJ as I got quickly lost 4 pounds per day, sweated a lot on my
skin for about 2 hours, and my goal was to get down to 150 pounds. Instructor Pablo shared his
knowledge and experience not only about BJJ techniques, but also about proper diet that would
help us increase strength and endurance. After all we had done, it was time for me to start
grappling against each of my classmates. Last, my instructor just wanted to examine for my
grappling skill. I challenged him but he had a good memory and always knew what to do. He
looked calm to knee slice on my leg so it got stuck until stop in 3 minutes. Another instructor
told me “One year later, I would be strong to succeed in BJJ.” Gradually I began to excel in my
ability to use many different grappling techniques. It does not require a toned body or a good
physique. With training, your physical fitness improves as does the precision, reaction time and
coordination. This in a way helps sharpen your mind.
I have dreamed of competing regionally, nationally and maybe even internationally in the
