Kennedy did great things such as “The Bay of Pigs”, The Berlin Issue, and the Cuba Crisis. Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 President “JFK” is shot by Lee Harvey Oswald. The First lady holds her husband while they are speeding to Parkland Hospital, which is about four miles away. (Killing Kennedy by Bill O’Reilly Pg.266) Once the President had been shot Lee Oswald had to make a great escape plan. He had fired 3 shots towards the first president. One of the shots missed the vehicles, car completely, one hitting the President in the back of his lower neck, and the other hitting him in his head (Killing Kennedy by Bill O’Reilly Pg. 266). While leaving the Depository a co-worker stops Oswald and then realizes that he is a worker for the company and lets him go. Lee Harvey Oswald then leaves the building and boards a bus heading Downtown and rides for a few miles then gets off of the bus. Once he has exited the bus, he hails a cab all the way to his rooming house to get his pistol and he leaves drives a vehicle and a police officer catches him telling him to pull over. John Fitzgerald Kennedy will never be forgotten. He has done many great things for this country and will remain the 35th president of the United States of America. Many people thought John Fitzgerald Kennedy was a great president, but there will always be a political argument between the republicans and democrats. Some say that the reason Lee Harvey Oswald shot John F. Kennedy was because of political reasons. Oswald was kicked out of Russia, then soon headed for Cuba and during the time Cuba was going through “the Bay of Pigs”
