I Believe Martin Luther King Jr was successful because King Jr. was an important voice of the Civil Rights movement. This made which worked for equal rights for all. He was also famous for using nonviolent resistance. He even spent time in jail for it. He was tireless in his attempts to end segregation laws that prevented blacks from entering certain places. These were places like restaurants, hotels, and public schools.

Martin Luther King Jr. seems more legend than man. Martin's leadership was fundamental to that movement of success in ending the legal segregation of blacks in the South and other parts of the United States. King stood up to national prominence as head of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, which promoted nonviolent tactics and also the massive March on Washington on 1963 sooner later segregation had ended everyone has gotten along months later after his death In the early evening of April 4, 1968.
