Why Texting and Driving is Bad

Texting and driving is bad it puts everyone's life in danger pedestrians, other drivers, you, passengers, and animals.

If you’re texting it is harder to see pedestrians putting their lives at risk. Texting makes a crash up to 23 times more likely. People who text and drive spend up to 10% percent of their time outside of their lane.

Nine in ten teens expect a reply to a text within five minutes or less putting pressure on them to respond while driving. 19% of drivers admit to texting while driving. If someone needs to text just pull over into a parking lot. Your reaction time is slower meaning you could hit people easier.

Overall texting while driving is bad you could get killed or seriously injured,
