This is hurting our economy because these immigrants need resources, jobs, houses, water, and other needs. We have about 50,000,000 homeless U.S.A according to census in 2010. If were to cut the amount of immigrants let into the U.S we could lower the number of our own people out on the streets, but instead we are worried about people from other countries that are taking up citizens resource and putting them on the streets. Immigrants also are taking our jobs, if we are letting 37 thousand immigrants per a year thats 37 Thousand jobs that go to people that aren't even one of our own or from our own country, we could use these jobs and lower our unemployment rate and take people off the streets. This sounds like long shot, but in 2016, a new mall in Minnesota was being constructed and planned to be built the owner or buyer wasa immigrant from Europe, but in order to do so the owner had to clear out a patch of forest . This size of the whole mall and parking lot with other mini business was 2.5square miles, according to Samantha Rogen and her website (Immigrants and their effect on the environment).
