Why Was World War I Important To The United States

The topic of this reading is important to society as a whole because World War I is the first major war that occurred in world wide. This war literally changed the whole world perspectives on one country to another. They become more aware of their neighbor countries-- upgrade their weapon-- in case there will be another war. This war also bring fortune but mainly destructions to many countries. For example, this war lead to the start of World War II, reading 4 stated, “It resulted in, inevitably, World War II and another revolution in Germany, which brought Hitler to power.” This shows that WWI ultimately gave a dangerous power to a dangerous man, who was trying to wiped out one of the whole human race. They did not really have any problems with economy, they were actually doing well in economy because of how other countries get weapons, food supplies, and other necessary materials from them.
