William shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564. He was born in Stratford-Upon-Avon. His parents were John Shakespeare and Mary Arden. He was one of seven children. He had three sisters named Joan, Anne, and Margaret. He also had three brothers named Richard, Edmund, and Gilbert. The children's father, John, was elected bailiff or mayor. As William grew up, he married Anne Hathaway at the age of 18 and Anne was 26. They had three children named Hamnet, Susanna, and Judith. He began to start a career of being a teacher. He later started a new career of being a playwright. After a many years to become a known playwright. He wrote 38 plays, 2 major narrative poems, a sequence of sonnets, and several short poems. Then he decided that he wanted to write. The first play that he wrote was Henry VI, Part One. He ended up writing 38 plays, 2 major narrative poems, sequence of sonnets, and several short poems, in total he wrote 154 sonnets. All of his writings were either tragedies comedies or histories. Later in his career, he built his own theater called The Globe. William had many accomplishments in his life. He was mainly known for the many plays he wrote. His wrote his first play in 1590.
