The wisdom tooth is any of the four hindmost molars found in humans. They normally appear during the early 20’s or late teens. It is also defined as the third molar that is the last tooth to erupt on each side of the upper and lower jaws in humans. Normally the teeth erupt and cause no harm or discomfort to the patient. The most common problem that arises is an impacted wisdom tooth (which happens when there is not enough room for the tooth to grow).
