What were the strengths of the League?
Established the League of Nations, which had problems, but did have some strengths and created some peace.
France was quite satisfied as it crippled Germany and returned land to them.
Established some peace in countries outside of Europe.
What were the weakness of the League?
Blamed for causing many of Germany problems they faced over the next years.
Clemenceau's problem was it was not harsh enough for the the French and he was voted out in 1920.
Lloyd George was greatly welcomed back to Britain but believed it would lead to a second world war.
Wilson was very disappointed with the treaty but hoped it had made some peace. The American congress refused to accept it, so they didn't join the League.
