    mistakes that not have been released to the general public. The show tries to enhance the amazing work done by the CIA. However, it also tries to hide its failures as much as it can. A notion of hiding mistakes can be perceived several times along the show. There is a very powerful moment in the story where one can infer that human errors can happen even within the CIA. For example, when Carrie Madison suspects that long time captive U.S. Marine Nicholas Brody had been turn and therefore she needed to prevent a possible terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Madison plants cameras and microphones in almost every corner of Brody’s house however she leaves a blind spot in the garage. This specific place is pivotal in the story because it is there where Brody’s real identity is first revealed. This mistake is a reflection that there are some blind spots within the CIA and therefore they cannot always be right. Nevertheless, the majority of individuals who watch this show are mostly passive and will neither pay close attention to details nor create a personal counter-argument. They are more interested in being entertained than gaining cultural knowledge. As a case study, it would be interesting to determine how much of an impact these productions have had on the existing Arab perception. Spy thrillers try to portray the main characters as heroes who will combat evil and prevail national security.
