The team learned that a team isn't just one person, nor half the team, it takes a whole team to win. Football is about getting better as a group and that it's not all physical. This sport is 10% physical and 90% metal. People see this as a bad sport but what the don't know is that you can learn and take a lot away from this sport. Players get disciplined and are put through a mentality test. Football can also show your kid to set an example for younger ones and help them learn their limits and to push over their limits. All those days of practice were not just to go and leave with nothing learned. The practice was about how far you push your limits, how much you improve, and what you learn and take out of that practice. If football could prevent concussions I would recommend playing, But since it can't you can try and just play at your risk. My coach always told me “if you fall you get back up and put up a fight.” When he told me this it inspired others and me to never quit. Quitting on your team in any sport especially in football is a coward move because you don't want the whole team relying on you and then leaving.
