    Some people do not get treatment right away and all of the previous symptoms will disappear, which sound like a great thing, but it is actually not. It just means you still you syphilis is your system and when it does appear later, it might be even worse than before. Early treatment is your best option. I have a short video for you to watch that explains these stages in more detail with images. You can turn your head on the side if you do not want to see the images.The video did a great job summarizing the three stages of syphilis. Now I am going to talk about the Treponema pallidum which was the bacteria that causes syphilis. The guy in the video mentioned the bacteria but I am going to explain it even more. T. pallidum for short has coil spirochete shape and it has the ability to infect man. T. pallidum do not have Krebs cycle, oxidative phosphorylation, and biosynthetic pathways because they have small base pairs. Snowden explained bacteria cannot survive outside of body fluids and it can only be transmitted by sexual contact.
