One may have picked Jacques or Louis, but theres a better character. His name is Pierre Joseph Aumont. He is a prestigious character who is very helpful to the protagonist. He was chosen for this paper because he is a wise man, and knows what his duties are and when and when he is not needed. Readers may like Pierre's helpfulness, but some may not like him because he leaves Jacques, the protagonist, later in the story. As an overall though, Pierre Joseph is a wise, smart, holy, and helpful man. As readers get further into In Search of Honor they will acknowledge that said character, Pierre, is actually a prisoner in the Bastille. Better yet, Pierre is said to be a mad man so they, the workers of the Bastille, lock him up in the calottes. The calottes are the highest points of the eight towers in the Bastille. They are the most wretched cells, rats would crawl everywhere and if they were not fed they would feed on the characters. Pierre was not mad though, he was quiet, they did not like that so he was locked up. Pierre of all his years of being in the Bastille kept his book with him. Want to guess what book? Pierre kept a bible with him, he read it and read it. Pierre also believed in peace at heart, " I have since learned that it is in my heart, not my circumstances." ethical rules when it used a voice over. I learned that there isn’t exactly a criterion that makes something Direct Cinema or not. There is a loose outline of what the genre needs to be and from that point there is a lot of leeway to do what you want. While this is good to have that kind of freedom, it can be dangerous to the final product at times. When a director goes too far to prove a point or tell the audience something about themselves instead of creating an unbiased view of the world,…
