            <description>The first step to learning Hebrew is to learn the alphabet.  One cause of confusion is that it seems everyone spells the names of the Hebrew letters differently.  Still, they are similar from one book to another.  Start with the spelling on the left, but realize that other spellings are out there. You may choose to adapt another spelling from which ever textbook you choose to use.  These flashcards will give you the jump-start you need before taking a formal course.</description>
