To view Unicode Greek font properly you must configure your browser, but you must also have a Unicode font capable of displaying Greek, installed on your computer.

I used Palatino Linotype to make the cards set and the font comes on Windows XP or 2K. There are many free Unicode Greek fonts available to download.

To configure Internet Explorer

Step One

IE: tools/internet options/general/fonts/pick a unicode font from the menu for webpages/click ok.

For Windows XP on my machine I had boxes for the breathings and accents until I changed another setting.

Step 2

IE/tools/internet options/general/accessibility/check box that says ignore fonts styles in web pages.

This second step is the opposite of what the author of the font page listed above says, but it solved the box problem for me.

This second step also adversely affected my ability to type some fonts in Yahoo Messenger. So it may mess up other things for you too. Try the first step and see if you get boxes, if not, don't bother with step two.. If you do change the accessibility function then you may need to uncheck it each time you quit the flashcards, to retain other functions.
