Children are impressionable, you tell them something, and they will most likely believe you. Many parents believe that it is important to raise your children with religion, they practice their beliefs and make sure to involve their children from a young age, some parents even force it from a young age up to adulthood. Parents can expose their child to religion but as your child becomes older, it shouldn't be forced on them if they don’t believe in it. Raising a child able to make good decision with good morals does not need to involve religion.

Religion can often be teaching kids to do the right thing for all the wrong reasons. A lot of young children are under the impression that if they do something wrong they are sinning or something similar to children who don’t do something because they think they’ll get caught. These should not be what keeps children from doing the wrong thing, children shouldn’t do bad things because they know it's bad and they have good morals, not because of a punishment that may be in store.
