METHODOLOGY
Research methodology is based on qualitative research; this type of research is designed to find out how people feel or what they think about a particular subject or institution. (Kothari)The qualitative method is “a method involving systematically gathering enough information about a particular person, social setting, event or group to permit the researcher to effectively understand how the subject operates or functions” (Berg, 283).Qualitative research is the collection, analysis and interpretation of comprehensive narrative and visual (non- numerical) data to gain insights to a particular phenomenon of interest. This type ofresearch can be also done by observing what people do say and think.
The primary source is the actual text analysis of the plays A Man for All Seasons by Robert Bolt and Brutus’ speech in Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare. While for secondary data consult different relevant research papers, journals, different books, while searching through different search engines.

Most importantly, the play raises crucial political and social questions that we still face in society today. The play encourages debate about our world – would we be prepared to stand up for them, even if it became unsafe? We see old laws safeguarding human rights being altered or even cancelled to meet what these politicians worldwide claim to be urgent needs of state. Intelligent historical figures representing that every society has its own rules whether it is a society of Common Man or of Politicians. The common man represents everybody, he is our self or hidden self. He has the advantage of being common to all ages and always expresses the same attitude. These plays provide us insights respect to the sufferings and troubles with which the common man is confronted
