My research question is:

“To what extent can RFID tags be used in schools and OAP Homes (Old aged pensioners homes), do the advantages over-ride the disadvantages?”

My extended essay will be written about RFIT Tags and the subject of my extended essay is Information Technology in a Global Society (ITGS). For that past year I have been studying this topic, and I have found one region of it that really stands out to me, not to say that the fascinations of how the modern world is developing to adapt certain changes, and its effects in the modern day.

In the beginning I was mostly interested in Artificial Intelligence and the way that it evolved as the years went by, but to be honest there was not really any key grabbing topics that made me want to write an extended essay about. Instead we use home data stations, which are securely positioned throughout home. Basically all data is stored on computer in different areas, and depending on the area where the computer is situated (such as the cafeteria or medical center) the computer has that type of information for all elders. In a computer situated by the cafeteria, you can find all the nutritious information needed about an elder, nothing more. As for if you were to check the computer system in the medical center, you would gather all the health information about a certain elder.
