Their employees and company name were dragged through the mud, unethically, by Ackman. To protect their employees and the company itself, Allergan acted. Allergan is known for their ‘green’ reputation. Their actions promote conservation of things like energy and water. Again, this creates a cycle. Consumers of Allergan’s products will be exposed to their ‘green’ ways and may adopt them for use in their everyday life. Applying Allergan’s ‘green’ ways to everyday life will increase social wellbeing. Employee satisfaction can make or break a company. Allergan understands the importance of the relationships with their employees. The policies of Allergan’s human resources department help to establish what is expected of employees. When these policies are violated, human resources does everything in their power to protect those at risk, usually the employees and the company itself.
