The muddied Colors, unsteady brush strokes , and strange warped landscape all give credence to this struggle. And while these things certainly due change his work, They also give us an inspiring insight. That even when faltering, the mind continues to move forward and work, and this piece is no less breathtaking because of it’s faults. It is the evident struggle within himself that monet faced, and continued to fight at the end of his life that make this creation so exquisitely beautiful.
