Although considered an important camp, Auschwitz holds no significant purpose except for the fact that there was many different facilities, housing more people than other camps, and also having more transportation of Jews due to the railroads. Although the purposes are the same, the purposes should still be noted such as that it was a mass killing facility, it made people go into harsh labor, and prisoners were also used to conduct medical experiments. Although Auschwitz shows similarities to the other camps, it is not exactly the same. The camp holds many different facilities compared to other camps meaning that the camp has to have different features.
