At all businesses, there is a chain of command that exists. The purpose of the chain of command is to assist the employees with the overall operation to build a successful business, organization, or company. From a Christian perspective, Romans 13:1 New Living Translation (NLT) mentioned, “Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority come from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.” God has His own reasoning for places us where we are in life. Some of us may be part of the chain of command and some of us may be just a part of the operational process. There are consequences to all unjust actions. For businesses and their employees who are unjust to their employees there will come a time when legal action may take place.
