In article 49 and 50 of Christian Morality, titled “Cardinal Virtues” and “Theological Virtues” the author discusses the four cardinal virtues: Prudence, Temperance, Justice and Fortitude and the three Theological virtues-- Faith, Hope, and Love. By applying every virtue to our lives we can harness the perfect gifts God gave us and advance in our relationship with the Almighty. For instance, Prudence is the act of premeditation, or the opposite of impulsive behavior. It is also called wise judgement or being cautious. Through acting prudently one can make clear and decisive decisions without the threat of being unwise. Another virtue discussed in Articles 49-50 is Faith which is one’s belief in God. God blessed us with freedom to believe in him. As another example, the third cardinal virtue is justice which is the habit of being selfless and considering other’s thoughts as our own. We learn that we are not limited worshipping God only by our liturgical celebrations. That we worship him by living a moral life. The seven Sacraments helps us to worship God and live the way God want us to live. It helps us to recognize that Christ is the Sacrament of Salvation. Through the Sacrament it helps us to remember Jesus life , ministry and message . Each Sacrament contribute and helps us to live a moral life . Baptism helps us to devote our life to God and wash away our original and personal sin. “ Its the beginning of our christian moral journey , and through it we receive the grace we need to turn our lives towards God and be faithful to his Commandments”. ”Throught Confirmation the grace received at Baptism is perfected,strengthening our bond with the Church and enriching our lives with outpouring of the Holy Spirit(247).” The Eucharist is a source that helps us to live a moral life. “Through the Sacrament of penance and Reconciliation we receive the grace of God's forgiveness.
